Thinking of  Playing Bowls – Join our Friendly Club

The members of Dorking Bowling Club and visitors continue to enjoy bowling on our green, which is in superb condition and bowling beautifully. A member of a visiting team was recently heard to comment "Its like playing indoors"

We always welcome new members, so if you are thinking of taking up an outdoor activity, we would like to introduce you to the game of bowls, or if you already play and have moved into the area, come along and meet us, see our Green and well stocked Club House.

Regular Coaching Sessions are held on a Monday Evening from 6.00pm for you to try your hand. Flat shoes only required and bowls can be provided.

Friendly Rolls Ups take place regularly on a Monday afternoon and Friday evening, plus there are Internal Competitions throughout the season.

Friendly Men's, Ladies and Mixed matches take place against other clubs in the Surrey and Sussex areas. We also compete in local leagues for those of you with a competitive flair, these include East Surrey League, Mid Surrey League and Border League.

If you have any questions that you wish to ask, or require any further information, please contact me through the web site or phone 01306 886420.

Centenary
2012 shares not only the Olympics but celebrates our 100th Anniversary. We aim to make this a memorable year for the club. Our Centenary Committee have announced some of the activities and important dates to be added to the diary, these can be found on the Web Site Notice Board. The Committee always welcome suggestions of how we can celebrate this period in our history, so if you have any ideas to share, please contact Yvonne Mott..
