Coffee Morning 2023
Spring was in the air when we all gathered for the pre-season coffee morning - the sun was shining and the green looking lush. This was a great chance to catch up with friends - pay subscriptions - receive the fixture book - and have some delicious cake. Well done to the bakers.
People trickled in throughout the morning and we must have had a good 60 people visit - some even enjoyed an early pint.
The Tombola was busy and well stocked - thanks to all who contributed - with Sonia encouraging all to participate. The guess the eggs in a jar (made up by Paula) was particularly tricky with different sized eggs to stop people trying to count them 
. Peter was also busy getting people to buy raffle tickets for the whisky.
A new delivery of club shirts had arrived and Marilyn was making sure that these were picked up before the season starts.
So a lovely time with a friendly atmosphere for the Dorking Bowling family getting back together.
