Winter Shuffle
No, not a new dance ..... but the exciting fast and furious game of shuffleboard. We managed six teams of three this time with a few spectators. After Roland explained the game and rules again ...... Every team had nine games to build up a total score. Some frustration was heard as the little wooden discs just wouldn't go through the right holes but also a lot of laughter. With a break for more drink and cheese/ham rolls (thanks Eric and Marian). The winning team was Trevor, Marian and Pauline - but it was close in the end.
Even newcomers to the game expressed how they enjoyed the evening and looks like being a regular on the winter social list.
