2025 Season - week 12 results
The week started with a familiar pattern of late.
A loss in the GTL, leaving us in 8th place in the league, followed by a loss in the Ladies' Friendly against Reigate Priory.
The men in the NSL at Sutton could do little better, with a win on only one rink and a slip to 6th place in that league. The Ladies Friendly was effectively cancelled as we couldn't field enough players.
Once again, there was lots to cheer about at the end of the week.
A solid win on all rinks at Newdigate leaves us in 1st place in the Border League.
A good win for the Ladies in the Surrey Ad against Byfleet followed.
Finally an overall win in the heat against Caterham in the ESL and 2nd place position maintained. The Ladies Friendly was cancelled due to the weather.
Well done to all the teams playing in the heat this week and especially Bernard Ashford who played his first ESL match - and on a winning rink!
