Join Us
We are a happy sociable group who enjoy lawn bowls and each other’s company. We welcome new starters and experienced bowlers looking for a challenge - please see the large turnout and fun from last year's open day - click here. All ages (from 8 to 100) and mobility are welcome. What we do ask is that all potential members attend FREE coaching sessions so that safety and bowling techniques are learnt before being let loose. Etiquette, dress code and rules of the game are also taught in practical group sessions on a Monday evening – but this is all to provide a safe and enjoyable environment. Flat soled shoes are needed to protect the green and for safety, but bowls are provided whilst training.
Once the coach has signed you off – you are able to apply for full/junior membership.

We have a thriving social side to the club in the week during the playing season and organised Club Nights every Friday throughout the year in our spacious club house which has a great Bar. Social membership is available to partners of Dorking Bowling Club full members and also ex full members.
