2025 Season - week 13 results

Week 13 started with a good overall win in the GTL over Merrow, our first in this league for a few weeks, but even this was not enough to prevent a further slip to 9th place. 

An excellent overall win at Godstone followed, that moved us up to 9th in the NDL.  This was followed by the news that Warlingham Park could not offer a rescheduled date for the match they postponed and so had to forfeit. We were given all 10 points and moved up again in the NDL to mid-table 7th.

The strong team from Felbridge came visiting Thursday in the Border League and, although we lost on two rinks, the teams kept it close. A good win on the third rink then meant an overall tie on shots and a good team effort by all. We earned 4 of the 10 points on offer and therefore stay in first place in the league just ahead of Felbridge. All to play for then in the remaining three games of the season.

The ladies could not maintain recent good form in the Surrey Ad and took a significant loss to Bookham. With only one more match to play in this league, we can't expect to be sending a team to the finals.

Rain finally arrived at the end of the week and, although much needed, it caused the ESL and ladies friendlies to be cancelled by Epsom due to an unplayable green. The match will need to be rescheduled.
