2025 Season - week 15 results
Two matches in the GTL started the week, with one loss and one overall win keeping us in 9th place in the league.
The Ladies had a good overall win in their friendly against Brockham. The men could not duplicate that feat in the NSL match against West Wimbledon, as they had just one winning rink.
Then came a key match in the Border League and an excellent win overall against rival for promotion Popes Mead. The win means we are guaranteed promotion to Division 1 next season. The final game away at Downsman next week will determine if we go up as league winners. Well done to all that have played Border League this year.
It was another important match in the ESL against league leaders Sutton and what a close result ! We won on two rinks and only lost overall by one shot. Home and away we have matched Sutton, sharing 10 points each, and showing that, should we be successful in ESL promotion to division 1, it will be well justified. We remain in 2nd place with three games to go and all to play for.
