2025 Season - week 18 results

A near perfect week for the Club in League matches, started with a decisive win in the GTL at Stoke Park - with Dorking taking 3 on the last end to win by one shot.
This was followed by back-to-back wins in the NDL against Horley and Leatherhead to earn us 18 points from the last two games of the season. We rose to 5th place in the league ahead of Old Coulsdon and Chipstead who, however, still have games to play. We cannot finish the season any worse than 7th out of 15 clubs - a very good result for the Club.
Our midweek match in the NSL against Cheam was unfortunately called off as they could not raise a team. We were therefore awarded 10 points and 20 shots.
The final ESL game of the season was the rescheduled Epsom match played on Friday. The team had a good overall win, earning another 8 points, and justifying our second place position and promotion to Division 1.
The week ended with a fun Captain's Charity Drive. 42 club members turned out to bowl and 47 members enjoyed the meal that followed afterwards. Over £500 was raised for The Children's Trust. Thank you all.
