2025 Season - week 8 results
The week started poorly with a loss in the GTL away at Godalming and then in the NDL at home to league leaders Ashtead, leaving us 6th and 8th in the respective leagues. The Border League followed with an overall loss away at Felbridge, with just 2 points earned in the visit, leaving us 3rd in the league. Our fortune improved Friday in the Surrey Ad, with the ladies hanging on for a draw and one point against Bookham. Saturday brought a key ESL game against Croydon MO, who were just one position and 5 points below us in the league. Three closely fought games were played with Dorking coming out on top on all three, the last of those won in the last end by scoring 5, giving us a one shot win. So 10 points again to Dorking keeping us solidly in 2nd place. The week completed on Sunday with a close loss to Felbridge in the Border League Cup.
