2026 Season - Week 1 Results
Week 1
A great start to the season at Ewhurst with a win on all 4 rinks in the mixed friendly. Especially impressive were the close matches - with 3 teams winning by just one shot.
Top-rated Old Coulsdon were next in the ESL league opener. Chris, Martin, Peter R., and John S. were unstoppable - securing us a good 2 points against a top team. The Ladies played a friendly alongside- winning on one rink.
On Sunday it was the first NDL match of the season away at Redhill - after 6 ends we were collectively 30 shots down, so it was an impressive comeback to win on two rinks and tie the overall score; giving us 6 points to Redhill's 4. This puts us top of the NDL League !! (albeit that no-one else has played a match yet!).
