2026 Season Week 11 Results

An on and off week with fairer weather but no outstanding results.

The 'old codgers' started the week with a win on one rink but an overall loss away at the beautiful but tricky Castle Green. The 2 points were enough to keep us second in the league.

The Ladies played their postponed SurreyAd away at Leatherhead but could not find the green on the day.

The NDL match against Old Coulsdon fared better with a significant win on one rink to also give us an overall win and 6 points. This keeps us in 10th place in that league.

The Border League match against Horley did not go to plan, with a loss on all rinks. This means we are now 4th in the league, just ahead of Old Coulsdon on shot difference.

The Ladies fared no better in their second SurreyAd match of the week against Bookham, 

On Friday a mixed team played our first (in recent memory at least) NSL Top 10 match away at Sutton - Richard W. and Trevor T. had a good match in the pairs but the other three games were not so lucky and we lost on the overall score.

Finally the ESL match and Ladies' Friendly against Purley Bury was postponed to 19th July at their request.
