2026 Season Week 15 Results
A difficult week with the return of some hot weather and challenging away bowling on some tricky greens.
We could not win a rink on any of our fixtures played - the 'old codgers' at Woodbridge Hill, the Border League at Burgess Hill, nor the ESL at Wallington.
The NSL fixture at West Wimbledon was postponed and the Ladies friendlies against Brockham and Wallington were cancelled.
Consequences:
- The old codgers still lead the Guildford league but only by 4 points now. So all to play for.
- In the ESL we are mathematically unable to stay up in division 1 and will play in division 2 next year.
- In the Border League, we are just 1 point above Old Coulsdon in the relegation position. So staying up in Division 1 is within our control if we get 10 points from the last 2 games next week.
