2026 Season Week 16 Results
A generally good week in the leagues with winning rinks in all matches.
The old codgers started with an overall loss to Burpham but a win on one rink secured 2 points to keep us in top spot at that time.
The Border League make-up game against Burgess Hill was hard fought, which resulted in us winning on two rinks and overall by one shot - improving our standing in the league. However the following day, we could only achieve 2 points on one rink away at Horley - dropping us back to relegation contention with Old Coulsdon. We have now completed our Border League season and must wait to see if Old Coulsdon can get 9 points away at Lindfield. If they cannot, we will stay up in division 1. Either way, it's been a good campaign in the Border League and well done to all that contributed.
The NDL match away at Caterham is always tough, but we were able to achieve a win on one rink - with 4 shots earned on the last end to win the rink by 1 shot.
A scarce win was finally achieved in the ESL away at Cheam Fields, with a win on 2 rinks and overall win giving us 8 points.
