2026 Season Week 18 Results
The old codgers managed an overall win against Merrow in a close fought match, but the loss of 2 points on our losing rink meant that Burpham have now taken control of top place in the league. We have 3 matches still to go, 2 of which are against Bookham, so all to play for still.
The NDL team at Horley had a tough time on a fast green but, even with the loss, we stayed ahead of them in the league by one point.
Fortunes turned with the NSL team away at Cheam, with a very good win on all three rinks - moving us potentially up to 3rd in that league.
The excellent results continued with a win on all rinks for the NDL team playing away at Leatherhead. This win moved us up to 6th place.
The Ladies away at Ewhurst had mixed fortune, with a nice win on one rink.
The week completed with a fun day of barbecue and bowling, much enjoyed by all who attended, in aid of the Rainbow Trust for Children - reported elsewhere.
