2026 Season Week 19 - Results
A good week for the Club overall. The 'old codgers' started with a good win on both rinks away at Bookham, keeping them in the race to win the league.
An overall win at Horsham in a mixed friendly was followed by the Ladies winning on both rinks in their friendly at Banstead Neville.
Our last NDL match of the season was an overall win against Croydon MO, which endured a one hour pause for torrential rain after 7 ends had been played. The sun returned and we were able to complete all ends. This win moved us up in the final league standings to 5th out of 15 Clubs, above Old Coulsdon and Horley, and equal on points with Bletchingley. So well done to everyone who played in the NDL this season.
Our final ESL match of the season against Chipstead was moved, by them, to a home match for us; but they then had to concede as they could not raise a team. The Chipstead Ladies were then unable to travel and the Ladies Friendly was cancelled as well.
