Action Shots from Finals Weekend
Some action shots from the Finals Big Weekend 2022.
Matches were played over Friday, Saturday, Sunday and culminating with the Ladies' and Men's Championship singles on the Sunday afternoon. We were lucky with the weather and there were some great games with close scores. It would have been nice to see a few more spectators to support the players who have battled through to the finals over the last few months. Thanks should also go to the markers and umpires who have also made the matches possible and wasn't the green in great condition after such a hot spell - thanks to the green team. Mustn't forget the beautiful flower pots and baskets around the club. The matches were followed by presentation of the trophies (see separate news item) and then we all tucked into a 'bring a plate' buffet - enough there for seconds and thirds !!
