Last Monday Mix and Match Roll-Up
Such a lovely afternoon in the sunshine to play the last Monday afternoon roll-up for the 2022 season - many commenting that it was a shame that we couldn't continue as they had enjoyed this type of social bowling. There was a very good turnout of 22 from the 50 that had played on and off during the 16 weeks this season. We had a good mixture of established players and new players who joined in after their training in June.
As usual there were some mini matches (we change teams after 4 ends) with the bowls close to the jack and some that were like DairyLea - well spread. We then gathered in the clubhouse for drinks and the presentations. Eric has organised everything and made these Monday afternoons possible - even to buying the prizes - and our sincere thanks must go to Eric for all his hard work (on top of everything else he does for the Club!!).
NASA scientists were not available - so Eric kept his calculations simple and awarded the multitude of prizes to the people with most points over the 16 weeks and some special prizes for some of the new bowlers.
