2024 Monday Roll-Up final day
After 17 great Monday Roll-ups, 2 Sept was the last opportunity for members to gain a score to take them into the top three - so we had the best turn out of 22 playing. It had been a mixture of rainy and very hot days throughout the season and one particular Monday only having 8 turn up ....... but the main idea was to have fun and a laugh - and a good place to practice for beginners (and experienced) players. We had 55 members playing on one or more days with over half coming 5 or more times (the cut off for eligibility for the prizes 
).
In the end there was one member who outshone all others. John Byrne not only had the best overall 5 game average (139) but also the best single game score (37). John was presented with a special engraved Guiness glass for him to enjoy his favourite tipple at the Club. Roland was second (wine) and Alan M third (luxury chocolates). In fact there were a total of 6 members who scored an average of over 100 for the nominated 5 games - a great achievement.
So thank you to Roland and Pauline to organising and managing the roll ups and collecting over £200 for the Clubhouse New Chair Fund.
