2025 Dinner Dance
We had a lovely Dinner Dance at Betchworth Golf Club again this year - they never fail to provide excellent food and service. With over 50 people attending, there was a good atmosphere with people catching up since the season finished. The three course buffet selection was vast with plenty left ...... but no doggy bags allowed. After the meal - we held the raffle with two tables heaving with prizes (full list of local businesses that donated prizes below) and many from our members as well. Over £400 was collected (thanks to the generousity of our members) with some of the profit going to this years' Captain's Charity - Tadworth Childrens Hospital Trust. Many people seemed to have the midas touch and won a few prizes (and some like me winning nothing 
.) After the raffle, we hit the Dance Floor with our Graham providing the music again - he knows how to play the right tunes and get people on the floor. Then, all too soon, it was time to pack up and get the taxi home. A great night, with thnaks to Marian & Steve, Pauline & Roland, Pat & Ted for organising and Eric for being the raffle maestro.
