2026 Coffee Morning
Saturday was a great chance to meet up with old friends at the Coffee Morning. It seems like the long winter is nearly behind us and Spring beckons the start of the outdoor bowls season. The Clubhouse was full and there was a real buzz about the place - whether that was the coffee and donated cake or it was just nice to see people again. There was lots going on - Sheila collecting the forms and subs for the new season, Sonia and Greta running the tombola (some fabulous donated prizes) , Marian and Pat serving the coffees and cake, Marilyn doing guess the number of chocs in a jar, Eric serving up the bar drinks and of course members filling out the internal competition forms ..... busy busy busy. Even the sun made an appearance. Al was also finding volunteers to put up or deliver flyers for our Open Days. We have two dates this year (25 April and 2 May) - so we need a concerted effort to spread the word. Thanks to all who made it a lovely start to the new season. ...... and didn't the Green look lovely.
