2026 Mixed Triples
Sunday was our annual internal mixed triple competition with 36 members taking part. Kevin organised [thanks] and picked the teams to even up abilities - with only 3 rounds of 4 ends as it was another scorcher. Everyone was very appreciative. The afternoon started with a 'spider' and if I remember who won it ..... i'll add them later.
Most games were close with the occasional lucky wick making a large difference 
. All games played in good spirit and it was nice to see so many new members playing. In the end with a great score of +11 - Team D [Charlie, Pauline and Julie] came in winners. The trophy will be presented on the Finals weekend.
It was 'bring a plate' for everyone to share the food with some bringing enough to feed an army - so a lot leftover. None going to waste of course with some left in the fridge for the hard-working greenkeepers to have during the week 
. The bar was busy and many stayed to socialise which was great. Thanks to everyone who helped make this another lovely day.
