2026 Open Day Part 1
What a wonderful morning and great to see the buzz going around the Club. Our marketing really worked a treat with some potential members even arriving 15 mins before we were due to start - they were just in time to see our final preparations and finishing off our bacon sarnies .... 
Our many volunteers all looked smart in our Club Outfits and set about our allocated roles - setting up green, car park, meet and greet, registration, ambassadors, coaching, bowls buddies - then tea or drink at the bar. A lot of people commented on how lovely the Clubhouse looked and how cheap the bar prices were !!
We had 36 peoole turn up and 'give it a try' - and it was lovely to see some families. What a great idea Al to have a kids rink with some games and of course a try at bowling. There was a lot of enthusiasm and many seemed to pick up the basics quickly. Our 4 Monday evenings coaching will be busy.
