2026 Tuesday Night Triples Final
A fitting finish to the 2026 TNT competition with a HUGE THANK YOU to Alan and Mary for organising one of our Club's staple events with a massive banquet and a big welcome to the many new members who took part in the parallel competition [thanks to Ray and Sheila for organising].

So, another year ends, I feel like it was only yesterday that we were starting TNT and 19 weeks later, sadly it’s all over for another year.
Thanks for a fantastic finals evening, lots of people and everyone seem to enjoy it.
Congratulations go to Colin, Pat and Julie for winning our Newbies class of 26, well done, we’ve got some cracking new players this year and as Ray said, they will give the rest of the club a run for their money next year.
Congratulations also go to the BEATLES (Andreas, Paul, Chrissie, Trevor, Jan and Marian) for winning the TNT trophy 2026, pictures will be uploaded onto the website (thanks Roland). Andrea your bottle and coaster are with Eric behind the bar, so pick it up when you're next around. They led the Monkees at the halfway stage 6-4 and after the change, stretched away to close out a win and the title. In the 3rd place play off the Rolling Stones overcame the Kinks, but it was definitely a tail of 2 halves and well done to Bash, Jane and Bob for giving us a great start, that even me, Steve and Jim couldn’t mess up (we tried though).
Massive thanks to Eric for doing the food, I think you will all agree, he did a fantastic job and enough left for finals weekend! Thanks as well to Mary for helping with everything and John for running the bar most Tuesdays, it couldn’t have been done without all of you.
It only leaves me to say, that doing the TNT for the past 3 years has been great fun and an excellent way to meet all the lovely people in Dorking Bowls Club, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it, I never thought we would lose evenings to the sunshine rather than the rain and between all of us we have managed to raise a fair bit of money for the club, this year it should be close to £1,000 so that’s all down to you and your continual support so thank you.
It only goes for me to say it’s been ‘emotional’ but there will be vacancies for TNT 2027, I would recommend it, its great fun.
