First 2026 Social - Boccia
Thank you to all who braved the cold weather and made the first 2026 social event a warm occassion. It was so nice to see how our members are really supporting the social events.. The good turnout meant that we had 27 players (9 teams of 3) with a few extra onlookers. There were a lot of 'oohs and arghs' as the evening progressed as everyone joined in the fun. The balls really have a mind of their own. We managed 6 games for each team and the highest total score was 12 (second was close behind at 11). The winning team of Pat, Anita and Teddy (so 2 non-bowlers) - just shows that different skills were in play 
. Another great evening at the Clubhouse with thanks to Pauline and Roland for organising - and Eric, Mary and team for the bar work (busy night for them as dry January doesn't apply here.)
