First Quiz of 2025
A Valentine's day quiz - but luckily not too many questions about it. We had seven teams competing for the candy prize with two rounds of twenty questions with a break to order more drinks and Eric's rolls. The questions were varied from how many bones in a shark to the percentage of world's population in northern hemishere ...... all very well researched and presnted (thank you David and Jane English). In the end there were only a few points separating the teams - although controversially the team with 5 players (instead of 4) was docked 5 points. There was a two-way tie at the top and prizes shared. A very good evening and a chance to socialise with great company.
