First Winter Social 2026-7
The Winter Social Friday Evenings kicked off with a quiz - thanks to David and Jane for organising. David presented us with nearly 100 questions - so a lot of hard work and research. They varied from 'catch phrases' to top 5 languages spoken to multi-subject areas - some hard and some easy - but no disputes as David's decision was final 
. Nearly 40 of us enjoyed the evening and the company. It was close but the winning team with 63.5 points was Paula, Martin, Vick & Charlie. Thanks to Sheila G for setting up the winter social calendar of events and of course to Eric for managing the bar. Next one in two weeks is Rummikub.
