Friday Social Roll-up starts
Second of May was the welcome return of the Friday Roll-Up. It was a smaller number of participants than usual - but probably was due to the Bank Holiday and the incoming rain !!!! But the showers didn't last too long and we were out on the Green with a half hour delayed start - so only 12 ends. The sun came out and an entertaining evening was had. Most were looking forward to the sausages which we could smell cooking even before we went out to play. The winning team of Roland, Martin and Moira managed a score of 30 - but we had some lucky wicks ......... Another lovely evening spent with friends.
