When we were informed that this event was being added to our social calendar, I wasn't sure if it was actually happening .......
But with Moira organising it - of course it was 
We had two volunteers for Surrey Police give us a very interesting presentation to a good turnout of members on the many different types of Scam that might defraud us - and there are lots. We were also given some sound advice on ways to avoid being scammed and ways to report suspicious communications. I think we all picked up one or two helpful pointers - so a big thank you to Moira. Also thanks to Eric for organising a good spread of sandwiches and running the bar.
